How to start scripting with AutoIT

I'm incredibly confused, i've been trying to get a fish-bot to work, i've been all over the board tried them all, i'm sure its me, but i dont know what i'm doing wrong. i've been trying to get this to work for about 2-4 hours every day after work, and i'm about ready to start pulling my hair out... >.>
I keep seeing people say i need autoterror, and i cant find that, so i've looked for ones that just use autoit, such as the one above. but when i load it it does nothing, i saw the functions set to wait for FF to load, so i log out, start the script and then log into FF, and wait....
it dosent do anything, do i have to log out to start, because i've tried to start it while logged in already, but that dosent work, i think i've tried every post for a fish bot of any sort, even the auto fighter through lunar, but i cant get lunar to work, i followed the readme files, and i type .lunar exec fish.dll (or txt, or w/e one it was i forget now) and it does nothing, can someone help my dumb ass out?

AutoIT (depreciated) and Lua (Lunar) are two different scripting engines.

Go here to download Lunar. Installation instructions should be in the zip file with everything else.

I posted this info pretty much everywhere in this forum and I still see people ask why some scripts don't work. The current version of Lunar, the FFXI library is broken, all except the chat functions. The new version that fixes all this should be out in a few weeks.
