FFXI_Helper has nothing to do with pixels. It is used to grab info from FFACT. FFACT looks directly at the game memory and extracts information without looking at pixel data. This allows for very accurate, fast, and useful data to be used in AutoIT scripts. FFXI_Helper is a little bit tought to use, and should only be used by experianced scripters. I can give some general pointers on using it, but will not add it to scripts for you. Post if you have questions.

ok thanks for clearing that up for me. ill give ffxi helper a go. but i do have a few questions. how do i extract the data from game memory to ffxi_helper? do i need to use ffxi_helper with the windower?
is the windower even working right now because ive tried using it and i cant figure out how to make it window the game. ive read the forums on it ive changed windows res, ffxi res made it smaller, bigger, same size, alt-tab, still nothing works. sorry for being a pain but im addicted to this and i want to get it to work.

The windower is useful for debugging code, but not really needed once the script is working. You don't need the windower to use FFXI_Helper. You do need FFACT and AC Tool installed in order for it to work. FFACT must be running with the debug window enabled for FFXI_Helper to get the info. Please see the FFXI_Helper forum under projects for more info and examples on how to use this.
