Its good to see that you are enthusiastic about this, but could you try not to make a new thread every time you have a question? It makes it hard for others to follow the problems and answers. Thanks

ok i figured out what i was doing wrong i was using FFXI_Helper in ACTOOL instead of autoIT...However, when i run ffxi_Helper in autoIT the only thing that happens is a msg box opens, closes, opens, closes, etc., etc. i tried putting a sleep timer on it so that i could start FFXI before it would start running but it continues to open and close in the background (It makes an error noise) im also running FFACT at the same time and nothing is logging onto the debug window? any ideas? is there a command i need to use?

Heh, there is a debug statement in there that needs to come out. I'll post a new version of it at work tomorrow. If you want to fix it yourself, search for msgbox command, and comment or remove the line.

Comment out lines 6 through 9 in FFXI_Helper.au3. That will get rid of the msgbox. Make sure to call FACT_InitChatLog(x) before you try to do anything with the chat log, where x is the number of lines you want to keep track of. Chat support isnt perfect, and may miss chat lines whan alot of stuff is being spammed to the chat window. I recomend alot of chat filters to keep it under control.

ok ok lol...when i take out lines 6-9 it stops but it also stops the script from staying turned on it just quits right after u start it . I took out line 162 and that stopped it but i still dont know how to get the information into FFACT. FFACT logs my username, status, x,y,z,hdg, hdg (rads), Firstperson,HP,MP,TP and it also shows my last chat action and last item in my inventory but it fails to show all the inbetween stuff most importantly the target info...is there something i need to do while FFXI_Helper is running? is there a command i need to type in or something?
