Ok, i know this wont help if a gm asks u, but usually someone reports you for a gm to msg u... soooo
I currently am using a speedy fish version 2 by duke...
It is autoterror,
I just starting to code with autoit. I was looking thru some examples in the directory and i saw it type text it notepad... now this feature got me thinking that if someone would msg me in ffxi i could send a /tell to them saying i am busy and have to log, then it can log me out?
If anyone knows how to do this? or how to get me started, i really have no clue what i am doing at this stage just looking for an idea or something.
**EDIT**
Well, as i am studying for mid terms i decided to take a look... i came up with this
Send("{SPACEBAR}") ** This would be for compact mode, to open the text enter Send("/t I am sry i am very busy and must log now.{ENTER}") Sleep(500)
Now what could i do so when i recieve a tell? to make it call that? how would i know? and how would i make it log out???
Thanks for the help in advance

Heh, you want to tell a GM that you are busy and have to log out? Best of luck with that . Anyway, GMs dont use tells. They have a popup box that they can make appear on your screen. Detecting tells is easy enough. Just look for purple pixels in your chat log.

so i would need to use a pixel getter and have it check for that color, then when it sees that would i make it use crtl+r on compact keyboard then type what it would to reply? then make it call the logout macro? sounds simple, this way u probably wouldnt get reported to a gm...

Yeah, it would. The best way to avoid getting owned by a GM is not to leave your bot running unattended. The difference between a botter and a scripter is that botters run thier stuff unatended. This messes up the game, and should be avoided at all costs. Scripters simply use tools to automate certain aspects of the game. They are still at the PC, just doing something else. I reed books while I run scripts. If anyone hassles me, Im there to respond.
EDIT: You might want to add a sound effect to be played if a tell is detected so the script can get your attention.
