great! Looks like windower is on its way back. Some people having problems, but everything i need is working smooth with minor adjustments.

The way things are currently I dont really know whats going to happen with lunar. I dont really play FFXI much anymore, and the recent patches have made any development very difficult. Starhawk has the source code and seems interested in further development. All of the new feature I was planning got raped by ffxi not playing nice, and the stagnation of the windower's api. The best thing we can hope for right now is updated memlocs. If I can get those, maybe I can find the time to update, otherwise its starhawk's thing. If anyone thinks they might be interested (and qualified to do something with) the Lunar source, I might be willing to share it a bit. The problem is that to continue development, I have to set aside entire days to work on lunar; often with no results due to limitations in the game or the windower etc. So essentially, until the windower updates with new features or something else interesting happens, I dont know how much work I am going to do on this project.

Sorry to hear that, and I wish I could help but all my experience runs to Java and development in that area. I'd love to lie and say I know which way is up, but alas I don't. I seem to have a lot of free time recently though. I've been trying to copile java to native .dll (using gjc) but there has been no headway there. I think the compiler docs are lieing. I want to create a plugin in java, but I don't see that as happening at this rate. Anyway, your contribution has been outstanding, sorry to see you so downtrodden by it all. |

As for the memlocs, I've just recently gotten into this arena but have been doing searching for memlocs on my own and found a couple that I have been using personally, if you wanted to give me a couple you are looking for I could try and help.

I know. ;D I also just stated a correction to your definition of a word and supplied a source in case you wanted proof. It may be taken the wrong way, but when I write informational posts, I include links to all the sources I used to prove something. It's a step to prevent this from turning into a debate, lol. |
