Hello i play FFXI my name is Mitralis on the titan sever. I really enjoy computers and i want to learn how to make bots and write scripts. Im very fast learn its just that i dont know the first thing about scripting i dont know what you need to run it or where to put it so could you help me out please. The only thing i can copare to scripting is a C programing class i took so i kinda know the basics could someone help me out please.

Welcome to the boards Mit. First thing you probably want to do is go to the Beginners section of the forum and read the sticky's on the basics of scripting with AutoIt and AutoTerror until you find yourself understanding the basic concepts. After that i'd browse some basic scripts and see if you can understand what's happening in them. Good Luck  |

ok i got the autoit but im trying to find FFXI viewer thing i forgot what its called can someone give me a link to download it

ABout FFACT and ACTools i went to the FFACT site for downloads do i download everything on the right side or is there a specific one i download also do i use AC tools to write the script forgive me if i sound dum but im just trying to learn thats all.

use notepad to write scripts, run them with AutoTerror. I really can't remember what one is ffact but its on starhawks site

im suppose to save the script as text right cus my not pad likes to try and save things ass a word document.
