Hey all
I guess like most here im pretty new to composing scripts and have a few questions if i may?
After checking out the few scripts that TT provided with lunar an idea popped into my head after playing with the random goblin graphic script & that was to create a script that adds random water/snow,drops/splats to your screen while in areas that have those weather condtions currently in force
now sofar ive created a scripted that randomly adds/blends & deletes 30 rain drops based on 6 diffrent textures to the screen(couldnt get them to radomly delete so i interspersed the deletes throughout the script randomly)im still playing with the amounts but 90 to 120 drops really looks good(i just loaded my script 3-4 times to get the effect to test it out)
But now comes my problem in triggering the script on/off with the rain effect,i cant really use the PixelGetColor() to check for the weather icons as they become obscured by the UI as soon as you engange at target,So my question is is there anyway to get a trigger it either from the sounds used durning weather or if theres some kind of zone/weather status trigger that can be used?
Also is there anyway to make graphics created with a script fade in/out before they are deleted?
As i said plz excuss my noobness i have read throught to documentation but i cant see anything that answers my above questions
