Ok, I think I need a rundown on exactly how FFAct works together with autoIT and AC Tool.
I've downloaded all three of them now, but I am unsure of the roles of each program.
Could someone just give me a quick explanation of:
1) What the FFAct tool does 2) Why is the FFAct tool dependant on AC Tool? 3) How do you interact with autoIT using FFAct?
Didn't find any good info on this anywhere

1. FFACT is a tool that looks into the FFXI memory on your computer. By looking at the memory, it is able to determine your hp, mp, exp, tp, position, and a whole lot of other things. This data can be used by scripts or other programs.
2. FFACT was initially designed to be used alongside AC Tools macros. AC Tools has good support for FFACT through a template set. FFACT requires AC Tools to be installed, but AC Tools does not need to be running in order to use FFACT.
3. Right now, there are a few options for people who want to use FFACT in AutoIT. The first option is to use a parser script such as my FFXI Helper, or to write your own. I am working on a new version of the AutoIT program that has native language support for FFACT, which will make AutoIT just as well supported as AC Tools. This new software will be posted for download as soon as it is ready. Hopefully soon.

I have a question for this place.... Ok, so we know FFACT looks into the memory to find out different info about FFXI... Is there a list of addresses available as to where FFACT is getting the info from FFXI

Sorta. On the FFACT site, there are memlocs lists on the forum. I'm not sure how up to date they are. I do know that the working list of memlocs that FFACT uses is considered to be somewhat of a trade secret to the FFACT developers. This is understandable, as the FFACT devs put alot of work into this stuff.
