Just like a rank up or rank down feature found on any forum site. When you like what you read from a member, you Exalt them.... think they're talking out their ass, you Smite them.  |

Or if you just want to smite people just so you can smote them that works to, personally I like mine at 0 middle number on the number line.

Its sort of a silly feature. I turned it on because I was bored. That reminds me, I need to set mine to -518 or something.
