does it give you like more xp then you nomally get (kinna like when u use xp ring) or it just tell you the xp u need for the next lv?

It just prints some info on your exp statistics. I will not allow any hacks on this site. If I see anyone posting them, I will forward the person's info to the friendly folks at SE.
