Yes, autoit will function fine while FFXI is not the active window. The problem is that all of the simulated keystrokes and pixel checking stuff in autoit requires FFXI to be the active window to work propperly.

just wandering why, or if anyone else is experiencing issues with freezing of ffxi while switching betweenwindows. it seems to freeze while say changing the active program back to ffxi. just wandering if anyone is experienceing this issue. it almost removes the whole point of the windower since u cant do anything anyways. sometimes it freezes completely and sometime my keyboard seems to go wacky, but toggle between the two ffxi windows seems to fix it sometimes. just wanderin what to try

daamnit after trying the previous versions of the windower i cant seem to be able to even use the new one, it says its encountered an error
