erm.. oo This Windowed Windower thingy-ma-bob... I tried alllll versions 1 and 2.. 1 just did nothing at all. 3 did something, i had it all perfect but then when FFXI starts, it stays on full screen!  (/cry) |

You probably have FFXI set to the same overlay resolution as your desktop. This would completey override the effect. However you may still be able to alt-tab or use the windows key. Give that a try.

if FFXI is the same res as your desktop, nothin SEEMS to happen when you press alt-tab. In reality, you are switching between apps. It just doesnt look like it. This is actually pretty cool if you use your mouse for camera control, as the camera control in true windowed mode is messed up.

Even when i dont, it dont work, My windows resolution is 1248x1024 and it still dont work, when my ffxi is on 1024x768
