Hey Guys... What do you all think of this new windower Archbell is working on that is supposed to be a lot more functional.. but he doesn't plan on releasing source code to it   |

what is different than the other versions of windower?
hopefully it fixes the glitches with screwing up my keyboard, with the last one, when my net was laggy and when i switched back to the ffxi window my keyboard seemed to get disabled or something, but i just have to switch between diff windows a few times

Sad to say that the windower is already done for due to the new update. too bad for the guys that worked so hard on such a good working windower too

Works now after the 20th FFXI updates. But they screwed ffact up just when i got me a farming script going. /cry

Sad to say that the windower is already done for due to the new update. too bad for the guys that worked so hard on such a good working windower too Please wait and try the newest windower with the updates before saying it wont work. |

I dont know if the FFXI update has screwed up the windower, but if you're referring to the windower not working based on the POL update yesterday (4/19) that can be fixed. You just have to replace the new pol.exe file with the one before the update. I would recommend saving the current one just in case something stops working. I used this method and got the windower to work. I haven't got a chance to play FFXI yet with the new update today (4/20), but I'm assuming that the windower should still be functional. Ill find a link to the old pol.exe and put it up soon. EDIT: I just browsed by archbell's site and he seems to have a new windower ready v3.01. Maybe that will fix the problem. ffxi.archbell.com/ |

well i tried the windower 3.0 and it seemed to take me as far as when i hit play button. it then came up with a error and closed pol. just thought it could be the update, since it all the sudden stopped working

i'am having trouble when i run the windower i get to the point where i click play final fantasy then the screen will turn black and thats it. It will do nothing more any idea's.
