Hello, I am new to your all forums. I spent the last 3 or 4 days lurking, reading, trying to understand what all is involved in a smn skill up bot. I have to say, sadly, I don't know anymore now than I did a few days ago.
Everything you all are talking about is so greek to me. I can load a program into my comp from a disc and hit play. That is the extent of my computer knowledge.
I love ffxi, but need a way to be able to clean my house while I watch my smn skill up. Being a mother of 2 and having a full time job, doesn't leave much time for my lvl 67 smn with summoning magic skill of 150 to improve.
Any advice, help, bot's for dummies information would be so greatly appreciated.
thank you from a frustrated smn

Hello Arowyn, Well i could say i'm a little in the same boat as you... I'm just learning all this scripting language and its hard to get going... But there is a discussion going on about a SMN bot in the following forum Auto It -- SMN Bot At the end of that thread you will find 3 messages from Darkaquaus listing his code.... You need to cut and paste all three parts one after the other in proper order into your Microsoft Notepad... then save it as something like summon.au3 Make sure you download and install AutoTerror and FFACT from the links in the forum here... and install those both on your machine. I installed it all in a directory i called FFXI to make it easier to find for me. I put everything in the same directory to make sure all the programs see each other... Then run FFACT first... then run Autoterror and it will ask you which script you want to run, then just select your summon.au3 Make sure your ALT-1 .. ALT-2 .. and ALT-3 macros in the game have three summons in them, cause that's what Darkaquaus is using as macros in his script. Anyways, I hope it helps ya out... I know its a lot to try and grasp at first, but once you get the hang of it, its pretty cool.
