Hi, I'm Poromaru on Pandemonium ;D I have been using AutoIT on lots of simple but tedius tasks for many months now (mostly trying to save myself from RSI, like turning in dozens of stacks of millioncorn). As my helper-scripts became more complex, I found myself needing to "fight" with them a fair pit, to pause my scripts when they would run haywire, and to get my menus set back up appropriately, etc. Also with AutoIT typing commands really made it impossible to LS chat, among other things. When I found out about the Lunar project through Tiny's sig on the Windower's forums, I got very excited! Many of the people in this community seemed interested/frustrated with AutoIT, and I was already intimately familiar with LUA through my brief affair with WoW. With Lunar I could write chat parser scripts that record locations of enemies to something like a thottbot.com. Anyway, I was very disappointed when found all the FFXI functions were broken. Is there any way that I can help? I am an undergraduate Computer Science major with.. a lot of experience - currently taking a break from school with too much time on my hands. Tiny and others, what's it take to start helping you guys out?

Welcome to the forums. Starhawk is currently working on functioning memory code for me. I want to have it integrated into a new version of Lunar soon.

Hiya, you came at an unlucky time. Those functions have only recently gone down.
Tiny, will the new update have these functions working again?
Looking forward to it ^^

Yeah, most of the basic stuff will be working again in the update.

Thanks for all the responses. That is great to hear! Well if anyone on the dev team needs me to help writing any code (stuff they think is uninteresting, segments to debug, or even just commenting, I'm still very willing to help this team and this project out in any way I can.) If there is anything I can do, send me a message

Unfortunately access to the lunar source is somewhat privilaged. I now have permission to give it out to those I trust, but obviously that takes a while. You can help in testing when test versions start comming out within the next two weeks.
