I can't give you exact specifications on what to do, I think tiny could, but If you're running this and want clean graphics, I know you'll need a helluva monster for a PC to run it. How to make it work fine... Dunno, good luck though. Excellent reason to want to get it running.

The Lunar plugin wouldn't really have anything to do with the way FFXI handles user input. This'll be something to post on the Windower Forum about. I agree, good reason to request this, just the wrong place. This kind of thing is out of our hands.

Ok guys i figured out a way to do it im gonna post it because it may help some other people who wanna do the same thing.
this is how I did it. I started both of the instances right before you switch to the FFXI window or 3D window. right where it tells you that you should not forget your real life and ...blah blah blah. Then you go in with one of them wait till you are inside all the way where you can see your character so you will walk and keep press one of the buttons of your gamepad in that time you will go in with the second instance all the way after that the pad will be working with the window without focus and the keyboard on the one with focus. Some times the cursor will be jumping ramdomly on the window with focus the only thing you have to do is click on the window without focus and click back on the other one.
ok this how i made it work hope it helps somebody. last thing to clear something it may be no so clear the pad will work in the window without focus and the keyboard on the one with focus so if you wanna switch jut give focus to the other window.

Some times the cursor will be jumping ramdomly on the window with focus... This can be fixed by finding this line in the init.txt windower script game_allowsetcursorpos 1 and changing the 1 to a 0.

On a side note it really doesnt require one hell of a PC. Back when i used to play EQ i could run 3 instances beforei started seeing a slow down but EQ ran in graphics and FF runs in the processor.
I quite often run two instances of FF to duo my BRD and WHM, generally i still run at around 25-29 FPS unless i go into a place with alot of people, a.k.a. Jueno. It's not really that hard on your computer.
PC Stats:
Processor: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2700+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz Memory: 1024MB RAM Page File: 300MB used, 2161MB available DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) Card name: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 Display Memory: 256.0 MB

Almost the same as my computer. It does make a difference on the resolution the game is set to and the window size (if not fullscreen). I have actually run a custom FPS script I made and had it report of up to 60 FPS on my system. It was funny to see that slow down to 15 FPS when I stepped out in Lower Jeuno. That was running fullscreen 1280x1024.
As for the bandwidth, FFXI only taks up about 800 bps in an isolated area and up to 16-24 kbps in heavily populated areas like Jeuno. You can easily run 2 instances on a normal dial-up connection.
WoW runs 12-28 kbps and DDO runs 24-48+ kbps. DDO kept lagging out while overloading my poor dial-up. I'd say it would run in excess of 64 and may hit 80 kbps. Compaired to those 2, FFXI looks good as for bandwidth efficiency.
