Lunar is new software. It's going to have a lot of bugs at first. If you find a bug, please describe it in this board.
General guidelines for submitting bug reports:
1. Tell me about the error or bug you encountered. I want to know everything about what happened. Getting into lots of detail helps me pinpoint the cause and location of the bug faster.
2. Describe in as much detail as possible what you were doing leading up to the time the bug took place. The more detail, the better. I especially need info on windower/scripting stuff that you might have been messing with.
3. General system information can be useful. What version of the windower are you running? Are you using any other 3rd party tools for FFXI?
4. If you can, post the script that caused the error. Even better, if you know how to code and have tracked the error to a specific section of code, mark the offending lines! This helps make my life alot easier.
5. Before you post your bug, check to see if there is another thread addressing it already. It doesn't help to have 20 OMGWTF YOUR PLUGIN RAPED MY COMPUTER threads all dealing with the same issue.
VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THIS!
If you post screenshots, PLEASE BLUR OUT OR REMOVE NAMES! I'm pretty sure people at SE can and do check out scripting forums such as this one, so protect yourself! If I see any screenshots with identifying info in them, I will unlink the image and send a PM to the user to let them know what happened. Also, DO NOT TELL ME OR ANYONE ELSE WHAT SERVER YOU ARE ON! This info is not needed to fix bugs. All game worlds are the same, so don't tell people which one you are on.
