I checked docs but I couldn't find any way there to play a sound. Preferably independent from FFXI volume controls (not sure if that is possible) so I could take sounds off and still hear a sound notifying me on certain events that have happened in-game (getting a tell for example). Missing a tell while waiting for party and not being at the computer is annoying.
I know this could be done for example with FFAssist but I'd like to steer clear from that program and work with windower and lunar only. It would be great if you could add this feature. It would help with numerous other things to be able to play sounds also this was just one example.

anychance of .mp3 playback? or are you going to use .wav? A Lunar jukebox script would be pretty neat *Thinks of the possibilities of a WindurstAmp player*

I really haven't looked at any sound libraries yet. I'll try to find a small one that will do mp3s.

Thanks Tiny, i'm sure mp3 support is the last thing on your mind at the moment. Nice to see Lunar getting some nice feedback though. I'm reactivating my FFXI account tomorrow so i'll maybe have a play about
