When I tried to open FFACT other day, it gave me a message that said "Error 5 (Invalid procedure call or argument) in procedure Form_Load of Form Form1 on line #0. Then I clicked "OK" and then "Debug", it shows nothing but blank. I am just wondering what is going on? Could anyone please tell me? I also heard that in order to solve this problem is to make a macro that will open FFACT inside the game, is that true? And how do I use AutoIt to open that Debug window while I am in the game? Please help me out! Thanks~  |

I'm having trouble with FFACT also, I don't know whats going on, I can't get anything in the debug window ever  |

Fate,
Do you have AC Tools installed? I think you need to have AC Tools installed. I ran into this problem and I think it was AC Tools.

When you say you don't see anything at all are you logged into the game via windowermode?

No, Like I have this script that is supposed to work with the Gettarget function in FFXIHelper and it's not working, I know it's not the script, it's just not getting anything from FFACT for some reason and someone with the same script said it was working I am talking about Hzzy. |

Hello,
When FFACT runs it puts an icon, blue circle with X in ti, down in your systray. If you right click on it, and say debug, do you see information pertaning to your character? I think you need to have this open.

No, I don't see any info pertaining to my character, and I do have the debug info showing then I turn on the script then start up FFXI and FFACT doesn't input the info to the window for some reason  |

Alllrighty then, so you see no information about your character in the debug window.. Like Tony the Tiger "Greeeeeeeeeeeat"
Are you logged into the game with your character?

I just installed ACTool, but I still recieved that error message after I open FFACT. T_T

Damn, I need to put a disclaimer on FFXI Helper stressing that its not ready to be used unless you are a highly skilled programmer. If you cant read the FFXI helper code and understand how it works, you are going to have a tough time using it. Hopefully I can smooth it out a bit this weekend.

Alrighty! Let me make it clear again. Sorry about my incapability of explainning stuffs.
Days ago, I wrote a provoke bot that work perfectly on my computer. It does all the jobs I want it to do. But after I send it to my friend with FFACT, before he even run the script, he always get that error message that I mentioned above right after he open FFACT. Not to mention, the Debug window shows nothing but blank, so my script can't get any info from FFACT. It is said that I have to run FFACT after FFXiApp window is up. Currently, I am using AutoIt to write my script; I have no clue how to open the debug window after I run FFACT while in the game. Can anyone kindly enough to help me out? very appreciated! Thank you~~~ T.T

Make sure you friend has the following: 1. Installed AC Tools 4.6.2 he can get from here forums.cameroncole.net/lite.php2. After he installs it reboot system 3. Try your script and FFACT should work now. Metalo |

Still not working even after he installed ACTool T.T but thank you for your help though metalo I am very appreciated This thing really gets me headache... been searching for any info that I can solve this problem for last 48 hours, but I still have no clue how to do this. T_T I really dont want to rewrite my script in ACTool again. Is there any other possible way I can use to solve this thing? o(  )o |
